A few words about me and my Company.

When I was 14 years old, I picked up my first camera and my love for photography began in the beautiful country where I was born, Greece. From there I was captivated and fascinated  with my surroundings by capturing moments, people, natural beautiful landscapes and anything that was intriguing in that moment. I began to cultivate my skills with my new found love and passion for photography by constantly learning and progressing with every photo that I took.

My eagerness for perfection drove me to experiment with different techniques to essentially identify the style that represented my work – a combination of both documentary and artistic photography. I love using natural light in my work but when I am limited, thru my experience I rely on a number of tested lighting techniques to ensure the moment that I am looking to capture is not jeopardized. I go back to fundamentals learned thru my experience that it’s about the quality and not the quantity of light.  My photos are inspired by light, color, a creative perspective and of course, most importantly, the personalities of the people I photograph.

In 2012, two years after moving to Toronto, Canada, my perseverance, drive and desire drove me to follow my dreams and create George V Photography – a photography company that specializes primarily in Wedding along with Baptisms and Corporate Events.  We are a team of professional photographers who all take a documentary and artistic approach because we are storytellers. Cultivating connections with our clients is how we understand your own personal vision and objectives and translate that into your beautiful story. We use our creativity to capture images that will make you laugh, cry, feel beautiful, and instantly bring back the memory of each idyllic moment of your wedding day every time you look at them.
